Mrs. Acevedo

Mrs. Halle Acevedo is entering her third year of teaching at Rogers Middle School and Berry Miller Junior High! Mrs. Acevedo received her Bachelor of Music Education from The University of Houston. While there, she was a member of the UH Wind Ensemble, Opera Orchestra, Cougar Brass Basketball Band, and the Spirit of Houston Marching Band!  Mrs. Acevedo teaches the flute, saxophone, and trombone beginner classes at RMS, and is the director of the Concert 1 Band at BMJH! Mrs. Acevedo is very excited to be working in Pearland ISD, and is looking forward to making great music! 

Outside of school, Mrs. Acevedo loves to hang out with her husband and two cats, play board games, and do crafts! She also loves playing the flute! 

Mrs. Acevedo is a member of the Texas Music Educators Association, Texas Bandmasters Association, and Sigma Alpha Iota Women's Music Fraternity.
