Meet the Counselors

Ms. Duggal

Ms. Duggal was born in Florida. She moved to Texas in 2009. This will be Ms. Duggal's  17^th year in the field of Education. Ms. Duggal received her Bachelor of Science in Biology Education from the University of Central Florida. She taught eighth grade science before earning her Master Degree in School Counseling from the University of Central Florida. She then worked as a school counselor. Ms. Duggal received her Juris Doctor degree from Stetson University Law School in Gulfport, Florida in 2006. She enjoys spending time with her two boys, golfing, yoga, reading and staying active.

Ms. Batten

Ms. Batten is one of our School Counselors. She’s been working in education in Texas since 2005 and has 9 years of teaching experience before becoming a School Counselor in 2013. She taught in multiple grade levels from 2^nd through 8^th grade and has been a Middle School counselor since her start in counseling. Ms. Batten loves working with kids and families in this stage of life because there is so much growth and development happening. She believes in working alongside students and their families to achieve their highest potential.

Ms. Batten is originally from the Philadelphia area and ventures back to the cooler weather on our school breaks. She has 2 children of her own and they have fun finding new parks and playgrounds, camping and swimming.
